He (sal Allahu alaihi wa salam) also said:
“The one who looks after a widow and a poor person is like the Mujahid in the cause of Allah, or like the one who fasts all the day and stands (in prayer) all the night.” [Jami at-Tirmidhi]

Imam Bakr al-Muzani once saw a laborer carrying goods with him while constantly uttering 'Alhamdulilah' and 'Astaghfirullah'. Al-Muzani waited for the laborer to rest from his load before he spoke to him. Al-Muzani asked him, "Do you not know anything other than this (Alhamdulilah and Astaghfirullah)?
The laborer responded, "Indeed I know much else and I do read the Book of Allah, except that a slave of Allah is constantly shifting between a state of blessing (from Allah) and sin. This being the condition of man, I praise and thank Allah for the blessings He has given me and seek His forgiveness for my sins."
Imam al-Muzani said, "Certainly this laborer has a deeper understanding of the religion than Bakr (himself)."
"I shall turn away from My Ayat (verses of the Qur'an) those who behave arrogantly on the earth" [Quran 7:46]
The meaning of {turn away from My Ayat}, is that they will be:
1) Deprived of understanding and comprehending it.
2) Deprived of true Eman in it.
3) Deprived of its benefit.
All that as a punishment for behaving arrogantly.

‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azeez (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: Allaah has not bestowed any blessing upon His slaves then taken it away and replaced it with patience, but what He has compensated them with is better than what He has taken away.
“And Allaah loves As-Saabiroon (the patient)”
[Aal ‘Imraan 3:146]
Allaah has given glad tidings of three things to those who are patient, each of which is better than that for which the people of this world envy one another. Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala says:
“but give glad tidings to As‑ Saabiroon (the patient).
156. Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: ‘Truly, to Allaah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.’
157. They are those on whom are the Salawaat (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones”
[al-Baqarah 2:155-157]
The Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
حجبت النار بالشهوات، وحجبت الجنة بالمكاره
"The Fire is surrounded by shahawaat (desires), and paradise is surrounded by hardship."
(Al-Bukhaari and Muslim)
Therefore We should consider whatever hardship comes our way is a blessing but We know not.
Looking for happiness on this Earth?
The word (Su'idu is Happiness) is mentioned ONCE in the Quran
(those happy will be in Paradise) 11:108
Allah is telling us, that the only true happiness is in the paradise.

Our current activities at Dar al Quran wa Sunnah vary from from providing various classes, establishment of the center and the purchase of the facilities as well as aid distribution to local and international communities.
بِسمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَسَيُجَنَّبُہَا ٱلأَتقَى (١٧) ٱلَّذِى يُؤتِى مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّىٰ (١٨) وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُ مِن نِّعمَةٍ تُجزَىٰٓ (١٩) إِلَّا ٱبتِغَآءَ وَجهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلأَعلَىٰ ٢٠) وَلَسَوفَ يَرضَىٰ ٢١)
Translation of the meaning
“And Al-Muttaqun (the pious and righteous) will be far removed from it (Hell). He who spends his wealth for increase in self-purification. And who has (in mind) no favour from anyone to be paid back. Except to seek the Countenance of his Rubb, the Most High. He surely, will be pleased (when he will enter Jannah).” (Quran 92:17-21)
We are also involved in a number of Aid Purchasing and Distribution relief efforts to the conflict zones in the Middle East. Our main focus now in this arena has been towards the Syrian refugee crisis which has now reached critical levels. We ask Allah to use us as tools for His Deen so that we may have an excuse when we stand before Him on the Day of Judgement and we are asked what did we do to aid our oppressed brothers and sisters.

Dar al Quran wa Sunnah has expanded in its areas of study in a way which has attracted the attention of youth as well as adults, succeeding in bringing a vast group towards the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. We have over 70 men mainly youth who study at the center. Classes include: Quran, Tajweed and Tafsir, Aqeedah, Fiqh, General Lessons/Lectures (Guest Speaker every Week)
We also have 3 qualified teachers, Alhamdulillah.
women’s classes
Since establishment, there has been a rapid growth in women enrolments at the Dar
Alhamdulillah, there has been roughly 80 plus registrations. Our teacher has 16 years experience in the field of Quran. We currently offer: Tajweed (teach Quran with proper knowledge of Arabic letters, Quran Tajweed rules and the importance of different kinds of pauses used in recitation of Holy Quran, Aqeedah (propagating the correct understanding of the oneness of Allah)
children’s classes
Kids classes were organised in a way that would make children familiar with the teachings of the Quran.
The programs are designed to make learning for children desirable. Benefits for youth include: Quran memorization and understanding and general Fiqh. These activities along with sports and physical fitness provide and well balanced programme which draws more and more children to the Dar, Alhamdulillah.

In the Pursuit of the Pleasure of Allah a group of brothers and sisters from Sydney, Australia came
together to work collectively as a Jama’ah to spread the word of Allah and to work for the Deen of Allah.
Our efforts became focused on the city in
Lebanon, Tripoli as we have many contacts and strong roots to the Muslims in this city. Tripoli has a substantial and critical lack of Educational
Institutes, and the condition is worse among the ones afflicted with poverty as they can barely feed and clothe themselves, let alone send their children to school. We decided to work towards the
establishment of an Educational institute with
Qualified Teachers to work together with the
community, and to help the community in teaching them the book of Allah, while also providing
humanitarian aid.
بِسمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
لَن تَنَالُواْ ٱلبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنفِقُواْ مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَى ءٍ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ
Quran Sura 3:92
Translation of the meaning
“By no means shall you attain Al-Birr (piety, righteousness – here it means Allah’s reward, i.e., Jannah), unless you spend
(in Allah’s Cause) of that which you love; and whatever of good you spend, Allah
knows it well.”
Humble Beginnings
We started off with one centre in 2010 and with the rapid growth of our students in less than a year we have opened up another centre to accommodate for the students. This growth has created a need to purchase the center in shaa Allah.
By the Grace of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala, we would like to purchase a new centre in shaa Allah and your contribution will be helping us to achieve this goal to provide a better place for the brothers and sisters in need of it.
“If a human dies, then his good deeds stop except for three: a Sadaqa Jariah (continuous charity), a beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” – Sahih Muslim

"A woman is half of the Ummah and she gives birth to the other half. So, she's the whole Ummah"

Where to Spend
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Allah said, ‘Spend O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’” [Bukhari]
The following story narrated in Tafseer Ibn Katheer is about two men, one of whom spent in the Path of Allah and the other who spent on himself.
There were two men among the Children of Israel who were partners and who are included in the meaning of the Ayah, “Verily, I had a companion.” [Quran: Surah Saaffaat, Ayat 51]
The two partners had collected eight thousand Dinars. One of them had a craft and the other did not. The one who had a craft said to the other, “You do not have a craft, so I think I will divide the money with you and leave you.” So he left him.
Then the man bought a house, belonging to a king who had died, for the price of one thousand Dinars. He called his companion and showed him the house, saying, “What do you think of this house. I bought it for one thousand Dinars.” He said, “How beautiful it is.” When he went out he said, “O Allah, this companion of mine has bought this house for one thousand Dinars; I ask You for one of the houses of Paradise.” And he gave one thousand Dinars in charity.
Then as much time passed as Allah willed should pass. The first man married a woman with a dowry of one thousand Dinars, and invited his companion and made food for him. When he came, he said, “I have married this woman with a dowry of one thousand Dinars.” He replied; “How beautiful this is.” And when he left, he said, “O Lord, my companion has married a woman with a dowry of one thousand Dinars; I ask you for a wife from among Al-Hur Al-`Iyn.” And he gave one thousand Dinars in charity.
Then as much time passed as Allah willed should pass. Then the first man bought two gardens for two thousand Dinars. Then he called his companion and showed them to him. He said, “I have bought these two gardens for two thousand Dinars.” He replied, “How beautiful this is.” When he came out, he said, “O Lord, my companion has bought two gardens for two thousand Dinars; I ask you for two gardens in Paradise.” And he gave two thousand Dinars in charity.
Then the angel came to them and took their souls in death. He took the one who had given his money in charity and put him in a house that he liked. There, there was a woman who was so beautiful that the ground shined under her. Then the angel took him to two gardens and gave him other things which are known only to Allah.
The man said, “This is like a man who has such and such.” The angel said, “That is exactly what it is; this house, these gardens and this wife are all for you.” The man said, “I had a companion who used to say: ‘Are you among those who believe.’” It was said to him, “He is in Hell.” The angel said, “Will you look down?” So he looked down and saw him in the midst of Hell. At this, he said: “By Allah! You nearly ruined me. Had it not been for the grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell).” [Surah Saaffaat, Ayat 57]
Narrated Haritha bin Wahab (may Allaah be pleased with him):
I heard the Prophet (peace & blessings of Allaah be upon him) saying,
"O people! Give in charity as a time will come upon you when a person will wander about with his object of charity and will not find anybody to accept it, and one (who will be requested to take it) will say, "If you had brought it yesterday, would have taken it, but today I am not in need of it."”
[Sahih Al-Bukhari]
Brothers and Sisters take heed to this reminder from the Messenger of Allaah (peace & blessings of Allaah be upon him), today our brothers and sisters are in need for our support, for our wealth, take this opportunity to accumulate as many hasanat from Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala as He has opened up this opportunity for us to gain the rewards.

No matter how carefully you try to guard you wealth, it could get robbed, it could get consumed in a fire (Allah Forbid), the bank could file bankruptcy, the stock market could crash, any number of things could happen. But the wealth which you deposit with Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) is in the safest Hands. It never perishes, it is in no danger, and in fact there is guaranteed increase in it. Whatever you spend in charity, is saved with Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) and you do not need to bother to keep it safe from thieves or anything else. Furthermore, Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) will not only give it back with an increment in the next life, but will do the same in this life too. There is no compensator better than Allah (subhana wa ta'ala).

Winter in the Middle East has been very troublesome......Due to the political events that occur in Sham, unfortunately many of our Muslim brothers and sisters have to experience these cold winter months with very limited neccesities.
Therefore, Dar Al Quran will be hosting a family day Charity event called "Kids 4 Kids" where we are raising money for children in order to give them warm clothes, blankets, food and everyday living neccesities as it is much needed.
This event will be held at

FROM 10AM-6PM
